Forge Together: official rules

Forge Together is an invite-a-friend event in Idle Forge, run by Pieters Studios. These rules are also shown in the game, on the event's Rules tab. Apple and Google are not sponsors of this event and are not involved in it in any way.

1. When it runs

Forge Together runs once a month. Each event starts on the first Monday of the month at 12:00 UTC and runs for 7 days; it is announced in the game a day before it starts and shown with a countdown. No event is running at the launch of version 1.11.0: until an event is announced in the game there is no competition, no milestone chest and no community goal, and an invite earns the per-invite rewards only. The results are final when the event ends. Prizes, milestone chests and the community reward can then be claimed for 24 hours, until the time shown in the game; unclaimed event rewards expire after that. Invite codes, friends and the per-invite rewards keep working between events.

2. Who can take part

Anyone who plays Idle Forge. Every player has an invite code in the game from the start, shown on the Forge Together Friends tab as a code and a QR code. A player who has cleared World 1 can also enter your code under Add a Friend: that only makes you friends, pays no reward and does not count as an invite. Taking part is free and needs no purchase.

3. What counts as a successful invite

4. Rewards

5. Top-3 prizes

The three players with the most successful invites win: 1st 150 gems, 1,500 arcane shards, 700 soul embers, 3 gold keys and 2 arcane keys; 2nd 90 gems, 900 arcane shards, 400 soul embers, 2 gold keys and 1 arcane key; 3rd 60 gems, 600 arcane shards, 250 soul embers, 1 gold key and 1 arcane key. A prize part you have not unlocked yet in the game is replaced by six hours of forge gold. Ties go to the player who reached that number first. A player with no successful invites cannot place. All rewards are in-game items with no cash value and cannot be exchanged or transferred.

6. Fair play

We may exclude invites or players that break these rules or that we reasonably believe abuse the event, for example with multiple accounts. Our decision is final.

7. If something goes wrong

A code has to be entered in the game; if it is not accepted before your friend clears World 1 it cannot be added afterwards. If you believe an invite was not counted because of a technical problem, contact support@pietersstudios.com with your player support ID before the event ends.

8. Privacy

Your player name and avatar may be shown to other players on the event's top 3, as on the other leaderboards. A friend who entered your code and you become friends: you see each other's player name, avatar and World 1 progress and, while you are friends, current world, forge level, combat power and whether the other is online. Tapping a player opens their public Hero profile. See the Privacy Policy.

9. Changes

We may change or end the event for technical, legal or fairness reasons; changes are announced in the game and on Discord.
