Forge Clans, Clan Wars and @mentions

Idle Forge is no longer a forge of one. Version 1.13.0 brought Forge Clans, 1.13.1 and 1.14.0 filled them in: you can now join nine other smiths, talk in Clan Chat, earn Forge Marks together and fight a Clan War every week.

Joining or founding a clan

You can join a clan from Forge Level 7 and found your own from Forge Level 10. A clan holds up to ten smiths: a Lead, up to two Captains and members. The Lead picks how new players get in (open, approval only, or with an invite code), a banner, a style and the clan's language, and can write clan rules for everyone to read. Captains help by accepting applications and removing members.

Clan Chat

Clan Chat is for members only. It supports emoji from your keyboard, tells you when someone joins or leaves, and since 1.14.0 you can @mention a clanmate. They get a notification, which they can switch off in Settings. You can report any message and block any player, and everyone accepts the Community Rules before their first message.

Forge Marks

Your clan grows stronger through what you already do. Finishing a forge upgrade, ability research or an ability unlock, summoning or levelling a soul, a dungeon run, a daily contract and a weekly milestone all earn Forge Marks. Each day of the week features one activity that earns 50% more, and the Featured Days screen shows which.

The weekly Clan Chest

Every Mark your members earn fills the clan's weekly chest, with four tiers from a Rare chest up to a Divine chest. Every member who earned at least 100 Marks for the clan that week can claim.

Clan Wars

Every week your clan is matched with a clan of similar strength, judged by what its members earned in recent weeks. From Tuesday to Sunday, the Marks your members earn count toward your clan's score. When no clan of similar strength is free, you face an Echo instead: a replay of a real clan's earlier week.

Monday is Claim Day. The war is settled, both clans collect their rewards (coins, keys, soul embers and arcane shards, with more for the winner and a War Chest on top), and the next war begins. Since 1.13.1 you can tap your rival to see its members and their heroes; since 1.14.0 you also see their equipment and Ascension.

Fund a Forge upgrade one segment at a time, whenever you have coins to spare.
Auto Forge crafts whole batches and reveals them together.
Dissolve several souls at once from the summon reveal.
