Forge Ascension, Friends and twenty worlds with their own look

Idle Forge 1.11.0 gives the forge a second life. At Forge Level 35 you can ascend: your equipment is destroyed, and everything you craft afterwards is permanently stronger. The update also brings Friends, Hero cards on the rankings and new backgrounds for Worlds 11 to 20.

Forge Ascension

At Forge Level 35 you can ascend your forge, up to three times. Each Ascension costs 2,000,000 coins and cannot be undone, so the game spells out what is destroyed and what is kept before you confirm.

What Ascension destroys

Ascending destroys all your equipment, worn and stored. It resets the forge to level 1 and moves the campaign to an earlier world, one your hero can handle without that equipment.

What you get, and what you keep

Equipment crafted after an Ascension has permanently higher base Health and Damage: 1.5 times after Ascension I, 2.25 times after Ascension II and 3.5 times after Ascension III. Ascended equipment is marked with stars. Your remaining coins, every other currency, your souls, your ability research and every feature you have unlocked are kept.

Twenty worlds, each with its own look

Worlds 11 to 20 now have their own backgrounds, so the campaign's twenty worlds each look like a place of their own.

Friends

Every player has one invite code, which can be shared as a code, a link or a QR code. When a new player you invited clears World 1, you both get gems and forge gold. The Friends list shows how your friends are doing and whether they are online. The details are in the Forge Together rules, and what other players can see of you is in the Privacy Policy. The monthly Forge Together competition is not running at the launch of 1.11.0.

See another player's Hero

Tap a player on the Weekly Ladder or the Power Ranking to see their Hero and the equipment they wear. Tap your own row to open your own.

Abilities will strengthen your Hero

Every unlocked Ability will permanently raise your Hero's base Health and Damage, more with each Mastery point. This is switched on shortly after the update; it is not active on the day 1.11.0 is released.

Fixes

The game no longer freezes on some Android phones when notifications are turned off, red notification dots show right after the game starts, and long chest titles fit their banner.
